To provide an opportunity for participants to strengthen relationships with their family members, friends, colleagues, and neighbors through fun activities as well as strengthen the bond between the U.S. and Japan. Teams of 5-15 Runners run a 1.4KM relay course for 3 hours and compete for the most laps to win prizes.

Categories for teams: 

• General (anyone ages 6 & older)
• Elementary School Students (Elementary school students only) 
• International (combination of Japanese and foreign nationals)
• Workplace (colleagues at work)

Registration fees and instructions:

• Ages 19 & older: ¥ 2,000 per runner
• Ages 16-18: ¥ 1,500 per runner
• Ages 6-15: ¥1,000 per runner

To complete registration, the team captain must submit the completed registration form received in the confirmation email, and the total participant fees, to the staff at the Lotus Cultural Center.

Event Schedule:

• 7:30 AM: Parking is open
• 8:30-9:15 AM: Check-in
• 9:30 AM: Opening Remarks
• 10 AM: Relay Starts
• 1 PM: Relay Finishes
• 1:15 PM: Award Ceremony 
• 2 PM: Expected Event Conclusion
