Every 1st Thursday morning of the month, the L.I.N.K.S. Iwakuni team brings you a variety of networking opportunities.

This month Marine Corps Family Team Building (MCFTB), Cultural Adaptation, Exceptional Family Member Program (EFMP), and the Library Team are celebrating the Japanese holiday Children’s Day.

• What’s the history about Children’s Day - Koinobori?

• What do local people do to celebrate?

You may have a lot of questions about Children's Day. So bring your curiosity and find out all about it by participating in a variety of activity stations for children and adults to enjoy.

Come to explore this unique holiday by joining story time, making koi fish crafts, folding origami samurai helmets (Kabuto), and taking photos in front of the cutest photo booth.

Be prepared for lots of laughter, and a wonderful time with L.I.N.K.S. Iwakuni. Open to all base personnel, walk-ins welcome.
