Konpira shrine is a Shinto shrine in the town of Kotohira in Kagawa prefecture. The shrine is dedicated to the protection of sailors and seafarers. There are 785 steps (about 40 minutes) to the main shrine and another 583 steps (about 30 minutes) to the inner shrine. You can get a lucky yellow charm (¥1,000) at the main shrine. It is said to offer protection from illness and disaster.
- *In case of heavy rain, the trip will be canceled. It will be decided on the tour day.
- **This trip is not recommended for small children due to the many steps.

Cancellation Policy
- Participants are required to follow MCAS Iwakuni Travel Guidelines for Kagawa Prefecture.
- If the minimum number of guests needed for this tour (15) is not reached by MAY 10, the tour will be canceled, and money will be refunded.
- If guest cancellation is made on or before MAY 10, there is a $5 cancellation fee per person.
- If guest cancellation is made on or after MAY 11, there is no refund.
