Check Your Progress
Visit the TSP website and log in to check your TSP statement—it’s a helpful tool to make sure you are on the right path.
Things to review in your statement include:
- Your contribution levels
- Fees you are paying
- Performance of investments
Remember, your TSP is a retirement account and is intended to produce returns over the long term. There will be market fluctuations and it’s important to avoid trying to time the market in order to avoid the normal market fluctuations. For long term investing, remember, slow and steady wins the race.
