Mt. Misen Hiking Trip

Get out, get moving, and climb Mt.Misen, a beautiful scenic location on Miyajima Island, with Outdoor Rec.

Get outdoors and explore. You can find some amazing rock formations, six shrines, and there is a good chance of seeing some monkeys in the wild at the Ropeway summit. Take in the beautiful views of the Seto Inland Sea at the Shishiiwa Station Observation hall at the top of the ropeway and the Mt. Misen Observatory at the top of the trail, which is 535 meters above sea level.

• Bus will depart from IronWorks South, Bldg. 1010 at 8 AM.
• Open to all base personnel, ages six and older.
• Ferry ride fee is not included, so please bring yen. 
• Be sure to bring water, snacks, and lunch.

Registration is available at Outdoor Recreation until March 27.
