Registration is open to active duty, DOD civilians, JMSDF, retirees, and their families, as well as MLC and IHA employees. Items may be checked out using the library card issued at registration or your Military ID card. The borrowing period for all items is three weeks. Patrons are able to renew items twice if no requests have been placed by other patrons.
Each account is allowed the following:
Check out an unlimited amount of books and magazines from the Library.
Borrow a maximum of two video games, launchpads from the Library
Maximum of ten CDs, Audiobooks, Playaways, DVDs.
Makerbox for GoPro, Needlepoint, Tea Ceremony, or Novelty Cake Pans.
One DVD player or Projector.
One Kindle or Nook.

Mango Languages is a digital language learning program for learners of all levels, with courses in over 70 different foreign languages, 21 English Language Learning courses, and 44 specialty courses designed to celebrate world cultures.
The Library has an extensive section on Japanese culture.
USMC/USN Professional Reading Collection
Limited to 25 free color copies per day.
Charging Station available to charge your electronic devices.
Kindles & Nooks are available for checkout (limited to one checkout per account).
Equipment listed is available for use in the Makerspace. Some equipment may require patrons to supply their own materials. Please ask library staff for information about where you can purchase necessary supplies.

3D printing is available to all registered Library patrons in good standing. Using the following guidelines, patrons may create three-dimensional objects in plastic using a design uploaded from a digital computer file.
Free online resources are available in the library and accessible at any time through our catalog. Ask library staff for login information and to explore more available electronic resources.
