Join IT&T on a fun trip to Tokyo during Spring Break. There are optional tours for Tokyo SKYTREE, Asakusa, Odaiba, and Disney. Or take in Tokyo at your own pace!

Participants are required to follow MCAS Iwakuni Travel Guidelines for Tokyo Prefecture

Trip Overview
Depart Depart on SAT, MAR 29, at 10 PM, from Bldg. 410, in front of the IT&T Office.
Return Return to MCAS Iwakuni on THU, APR 3, at 10:30 PM

Itinerary
Day 1 - SAT, MAR 29
10 PM Depart from MCAS Iwakuni, from Bldg. 410 in front of the IT&T Office, sleeping overnight on the bus.
Day 2 - SUN, MAR 30
11 AM Visit Yokosuka Navy Base before checking in at the hotel.
3 PM Check in at the New Sanno Hotel
Day 3 - MON, MAR 31
Optional Tour for Tokyo Sightseeing to SKYTREE, Asakusa area, and Odaiba area
  • The SKYTREE is the highest tower in the world at 634 meters and has the two highest observation decks.
  • Asakusa has a popular shopping area, known for its iconic large lantern at the gate. This is the oldest shopping street and leads to Asakusa Sensoji Temple.
  • Odaiba is a popular shopping and entertainment district on a man-made island in Tokyo Bay.

Day 4 - TUE, APR 1
Optional Tour to Tokyo Disney Resort (Disneyland / Disney Sea)
  • *IT&T is unable to provide Tokyo Disney 1-Day passes. Please purchase them on the Tokyo Disney Resort website: https://www.tokyodisneyresort.jp/en/
  • Also, you can purchase them at the IACE Travel office next to the IT&T Office. For more information, please ask IT&T.

Day 5 - WED, APR 2
All Day Free Time!
Day 6 - THU, APR 3
9 AM Check-out from hotel
10:30 PM Estimated return time to MCAS Iwakuni

  • Participants are required to follow MCAS Iwakuni Travel Guidelines for Tokyo Prefecture.
  • If the minimum number of guests needed for this tour (15) is not reached by MAR 7, the tour will be canceled and money will be refunded.
  • If guest cancellation is made on or before MAR 7, there is a $5 cancellation fee per person.
  • If guest cancellation is made between MAR 8 and MAR 19, there is a two-night hotel fee and a $10 per person cancellation fee.
  • If guest cancellation is made on or after MAR 20, there is no refund.
