Welcome Aboard Bus Tour

Join Cultural Adaptation and explore downtown Iwakuni on the Welcome Aboard Bus tour. Learn how to successfully navigate the local train and bus with a guided tour focused on Japanese culture for residents new to the air station. The tour is open to all ages.

What to bring:

• Military ID
• Wear comfortable clothes and shoes 
• Yen for lunch, snacks, museum fees, and souvenirs. 
• An umbrella (for days with questionable weather)

This tour is completely optional, but prior registration is mandatory. If you will be accompanied during this tour, please register every party member.

Please note that if you are a servicemember with MAG-12, MWSS-171, VMFA-242, VMGR-152, VMFA-121, MALS-12, or H&HS, you are part of the new joint onboarding program. Please sign up using your command's DRC/URC. You will be part of a different tour, and you (and your family) must not sign up online through MCCS.
