The Human Performance Program is an initiative by Semper Fit to develop readiness and resilience in Marines and Sailors by optimizing operation fitness and mission nutrition. The Human Performance Program is made up of a staff of certified HITT Strength & Conditioning coaches and a Health Promotion Coordinator. They support training for all types of fitness-related requirements and are available for unit training, individual work, recovery, cognition and resiliency training. This training can be carried out at the local HITT centers (Ironworks Main & Ironworks North), or at the outdoor track for field work. The Human Performance team delivers a comprehensive and holistic warfighter readiness program for active duty by addressing sleep health, cognitive performance, nutrition and tobacco cessation on a unit or individual level. They also offer barracks cooking classes, monthly wellness program initiatives and a HITT for Small Unit Leaders (HSUL) course on a regular basis.
