Parks, pavilions, ponds, playgrounds and trails are the perfect place to play, exercise, relax, and reflect. Picnic tables, grills, and restroom amenities are available at some locations, making them a great venue for special gatherings. Pavilion use may require reservations. Those without reservations operate on a first-come-first-serve basis. You can often find these outdoor places near sports fields, bodies of water and within the family and barracks housing areas. Some installations have skate parks with various layouts and obstacles to challenge the novice to the most extreme skateboarder, inline skater, and BMX biker.

XtremeWorks Skate Park

The skate park is made entirely out of metal and features a bowl, street course, and a mini ramp with a spine.
