Gear Issue
Gear Issue meets all of your outdoor recreational needs with equipment for camping, picnics, boating, snowboarding, skiing, kayaking, and more. Equipment is available for the first 1-3 days and is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
*Select rental equipment is temporarily unavailable until further notice.
Gear issue equipment is on a first-come, first-served basis. Exceptions are made for servicemembers reserving party supply items for unit functions (see details below) and individuals who would like bouncers, sumo suits, or Santa suits which can be reserved in advance.
For you cold weather junkies, get your skis and snowboards tuned and waxed before you head up to the slopes.

Click here to take the Smart Start for Safe Paddling online course:
a. Create a free guest account.
b. Complete the course.
c. Visit the Outdoor Recreation office and present your completion certificate.
d. Receive your license.
e. With this license, you can now rent a SUP board, canoe, bass boat, or sit-on kayak. -
It is recommended that you watch the appropriate video based on the watercraft you plan to use. Click here to watch the video.
Note: To rent a sit-in kayak, you must complete a practical training session in the pool. Please contact Outdoor Recreation to schedule your training.
